HBEngineers, Inc. (HBE) was founded in May of 2006 by Thomas Hoffman, PE, and Kevin Buxton, PE, LEED AP. HBE engineering services include mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, telecommunications, and lighting design. Mr. Hoffman and Mr. Buxton have worked together for over 20 years, collaborating on building systems designs for numerous commercial, healthcare, recreational, and educational facilities. Their vast combined work experience of over 40 years allows for the production of engineering work for a variety of system and building types.

Besides an expertise in building systems design, both Mr. Hoffman and Mr. Buxton are also experienced in managing projects, from small scale renovations to large new buildings. Attention to detail, coordination efforts, and excellent communication skills with owners and contractors have allowed them to effectively implement their engineering designs.
